Mould removal & remediation in Dubai
Mould, also spelled mold, often returns when the moisture source remains unresolved. We assess damp, leaks and ventilation concerns before defining the treatment and follow-up scope.

Overview
Mould Removal & Remediation: scope, systems and delivery

In Dubai's climate, mold usually starts where cold, air-conditioned surfaces meet humid air — behind wardrobes, around AC ducts and diffusers, on ceilings under roofs and in bathrooms. Painting over it, or wiping it with bleach, leaves the cause in place and the spores in the air.
We start with moisture mapping, thermal imaging and airflow checks to investigate a leak, condensation, ventilation or AC issue. The proposal identifies affected areas, treatment, any moisture repairs and the follow-up checks included. Laboratory testing, duct cleaning and reinstatement should be listed separately where required.
The right specification starts with the condition of your property and the work it needs.

Mould removal and remediation: what to check in your quote
The final scope follows inspection. Ask for preparation, materials, access, testing and reinstatement to be itemised so you can compare proposals fairly.
Define the work included
- Affected surfaces, moisture investigation and defined treatment zones
- Removal or treatment method, drying and agreed follow-up checks
Items that may cost extra
- Air sampling or laboratory tests where required
- Removing affected finishes, hidden contamination and leak repairs
What to send for an accurate quotation
Affected rooms, photographs, approximate extent, recurring damp or AC issues and access restrictions.
Comparing proposals
Ask how the moisture source will be addressed and whether hidden affected materials, laboratory testing and reinstatement are included.
Changes to price and programme
Concealed damage, additional areas, changed materials or access restrictions can change the work. Ask for the extra cost, revised completion date and any effect on testing or warranty to be recorded and agreed before additional work proceeds.
Testing, handover and warranty
Confirm the inspection or testing method, completion records, aftercare and written warranty for the selected system. Coverage, duration, exclusions and maintenance requirements should be stated for your specific project.

FAQ
Questions about mould removal & remediation
More answers on our FAQ page, or speak to an engineer directly.
Why does mold keep coming back after cleaning?
Because the moisture that feeds it is still there. Unless the leak, condensation or ventilation problem is fixed, mold returns within weeks.
Is mold caused by my AC?
Often it's involved. Cold ducts and diffusers in humid air create condensation, and poorly balanced systems leave rooms damp. We check airflow as part of the diagnosis.
Can we stay at home during mold remediation?
Usually yes — affected rooms are contained and treated while the rest of the home stays in use. We'll advise if a room needs to be vacated temporarily.
