Polyurea Coatings: scope, systems and delivery
Pure polyurea is a 100% solids elastomer sprayed through heated, high-pressure plural-component equipment at around 85°C. It gels in seconds, so it can be applied to vertical faces, domes and complex roofscapes without sagging, and areas are back in service within hours rather than days.
The result is only as good as the preparation and the applicator. Our crews profile and prime the substrate, control film thickness with wet-film checks and finish with an aliphatic topcoat so the membrane stays UV-stable in Dubai sun. We apply polyurea for waterproofing, abrasion and impact resistance, and chemical containment.

What is the difference between polyurea and polyurethane?
Polyurethane coatings cure slowly and are sensitive to humidity during application. Pure polyurea cures in seconds, is far less moisture-sensitive and gives higher elongation and abrasion resistance — ideal for Dubai's conditions.
Does polyurea fade in the sun?
Aromatic polyurea can darken under UV, which is why we finish with an aliphatic topcoat that keeps colour and protects the membrane beneath.
Can polyurea be applied over an existing roof?
Often, yes — over sound, well-bonded substrates after preparation and priming. Failing or blistered systems are removed first.
